Dov
Kelemer
is a
27-year-old filmmaker born and raised in Los Angeles.
During high school (about age 16) he began producing and directing a
local cable music show which featured local bands
from the Southern California area.
It
was there at that young age he met the members of “NC-17” and began to hear
the intimate stories about their plight as unsigned musician and artists
struggling to survive in the L.A. music scene.
It was not long after that Dov realized that he too as an aspiring filmmaker was
caught in the same battle as these musicians struggling to find a voice and be
heard.
WON'T
ANYBODY LISTEN
is Dov’s first feature and he has been following “NC-17” around with his
camera for over 7 years.
Often shooting in clubs he was not legally allowed to enter because he
was underage (when shooting began).
When
not filmmaking he runs several other businesses which include retail and
wholesale sales of pop culture collectibles.
Dov graduated from film school in ‘95 from Loyola Marymount University.
filmography
Dov has been directing low budget music videos and commercials for over 10
years.
WON'T ANYBODY LISTEN is his first feature.
